As many as 100,000 African elephants have been slaughtered for their ivory in the past three years. A record number of rhinos were killed for their horns last year. And tiger populations remain on the brink of collapse.
This year's theme is "It's time to get serious about wildlife crime," so we put together a list of some of the most vulnerable species around the globe. We all know what an elephant looks like, but the world may soon have to get used to a future where we only remember them from photos.
